Very unfriendly, I cannot recommend it. You wait a long time for your meal and the staff is very stressed. Unfortunately, you let the customer feel that. We won't be back, too bad :)

Fantastic location, instead of dinner we ordered cream slices at 6 p.m. - ready-made cakes from the discounter? WiFi would be nice because there was no network in a large area. Still recommended as the end of a hike.

The onion schnitzel was exceptionally large. The plate of salad was well mixed in ingredients. And the potatoes were also perfectly fried. All in all under 15 € plus drinks. The service was a bit older. But it all happened very quickly. It was also excellent in taste. The ambience was very western.

Time has stopped here. But that's not why it is cult. Unfortunately the beer was very warm, but it wasn't charged for that either. I don't know if I have to go there again.

Waited an hour for the food. Customers who came after us were served first. No structure in the service and audible gossip in the kitchen. Ordered food was enjoyable. Service but unfriendly.

Were there last Sunday. Pieces of cake were big and delicious ... the view from the terrace is also very nice .. BUT ... completely overwhelmed staff .. the older waitress was very unfriendly .. neither a good day, nor thanks or Please of her ... it took forever for you to order the drinks .. it was still longer before you could order the food .. although not much was to be done .. too bad .. so you lose customers

The cafe is a bit old, the service was very friendly. The cake pieces very large, but not so good in taste.

Nice forest cafe to refresh yourself after a hike. Great view from the terrace .. Ambience rather rustic inside and not our taste. Rustic German food with large portions. Flexible and nice service even if a bit overwhelmed during Corona times ... but we will definitely be back ...

Very idyllic location, in the middle of nature far from noise and traffic. Beautiful terrace with a view, rustic country house style inside. Small selection of food and drinks, including cake and ice cream. Attention: closes at 7 p.m.

Location an absolute highlight. On a hill with a great view of the Eifel. Meeting place for motorcyclists and hikers. Parasols are missing on the terrace. Awning alone is not enough.

You feel transported back in time. Eat like before. Everything tasted good. Good service. The Waldcafe has hot food throughout.

After our walk we stopped for lunch at the Waldcafé Restaurant Maus. The furniture is a bit older but well maintained and charming. The cafe was well filled at the time. (20-30 people) We each had a drink and a hamburger schnitzel with fries and side salad. The food was quite tasty and was served quickly. We would eat there again after a walk.

We stopped here for ice cream and coffee. Beautiful view, friendly local service and a small playground for kids.
